Troubleshooting

Common questions and solutions

Start with these steps. Contact support when the problem continues or your shipment cannot proceed.

Account access

Account, registration, and login problems

I cannot sign in

  1. Confirm that you are using the same email address used during registration.
  2. Check for spelling errors, extra spaces, or automatic capitalization in the email field.
  3. Confirm that your internet connection is active.
  4. If email verification is required, check your inbox and spam folder for the verification message.
  5. Close and reopen the browser or application, then try again.

I did not receive an email

  • Check your spam, junk, promotions, and filtered folders.
  • Confirm that the email address was entered correctly.
  • Allow several minutes for the message to arrive before requesting another one.
  • Ask your company administrator whether business-email filtering may be blocking the message.

Do not send your password to MainDispatch support. Our team will never ask you to provide your complete password by email.

Shipment access

Tracking-code and shipment-access problems

The tracking code is not working

  1. Enter the tracking code exactly as it was provided, including letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  2. Do not add spaces before, inside, or after the code.
  3. Confirm that you are opening the correct MainDispatch application or tracking page.
  4. Ask the broker or dispatcher to confirm that the dispatch was created successfully and remains active.
  5. If the code was copied from a message, paste it into a plain-text field first to remove hidden formatting.

A tracking code grants access to shipment-related information. Do not post it publicly or share it with people who are not involved in the shipment.

The shipment is missing or shows the wrong vehicle

Contact the broker or company that created the dispatch. MainDispatch displays the shipment information submitted by the organization managing the load.

Live shipment tracking

Location is not updating

Check the following settings

  • Location permission is enabled for the MainDispatch app.
  • Precise location is enabled when the device provides that option.
  • Background location access is enabled when required by the active shipment workflow.
  • Cellular data or Wi-Fi is available and airplane mode is disabled.
  • Low Power Mode, battery optimization, or background-app restrictions are not preventing updates.
  • The active shipment has been started inside the MainDispatch app.

If the device temporarily loses service

MainDispatch may temporarily store supported workflow data on the device and synchronize it after connectivity returns. Keep the application installed and avoid clearing its storage while a shipment is active.

The public tracking page appears delayed

Tracking depends on device permission, GPS availability, network connectivity, operating-system background limits, and the driver’s current workflow status. The displayed location may not always represent the vehicle’s exact real-time position.

Inspection workflow

Photo, camera, signature, or synchronization problems

The camera does not open

  1. Open your device settings and confirm that MainDispatch has camera permission.
  2. Close other applications that may currently be using the camera.
  3. Restart MainDispatch and return to the affected inspection step.
  4. If needed, restart the device and try again.

A photo or signature is not uploading

  • Keep MainDispatch open until the current step completes.
  • Confirm that the device has a stable internet connection.
  • Avoid deleting the application or clearing its local data while files are waiting to synchronize.
  • Reconnect to the internet and reopen the affected shipment to allow synchronization to continue.
  • Confirm that sufficient device storage is available.

Do not uninstall the application during an unfinished inspection or pending upload. Locally stored photos or signatures may be lost before synchronization completes.

The wrong photo was captured

Use the retake or replace option before completing the inspection step. Once a shipment record is finalized, contact the organization managing the dispatch if a correction is needed.

Shipment documents

Digital Bill of Lading problems

The BOL has not been generated

A digital BOL may depend on successful completion and synchronization of the required shipment steps. Confirm that:

  • Required pickup and delivery steps are complete;
  • Required inspection photos have uploaded;
  • Required signatures have been submitted;
  • The device has an active internet connection; and
  • The shipment has reached the appropriate final status.

The BOL will not open

  1. Confirm that the device is connected to the internet.
  2. Try opening the document in another browser or device.
  3. Disable any browser setting that blocks opening PDF files.
  4. Ask the broker or dispatcher to confirm that the document was generated successfully.

The BOL contains incorrect shipment information

Contact the broker or organization that created the dispatch. The BOL is generated using the shipment, inspection, and signature information associated with that load.

Privacy controls

Privacy questions and account deletion

Review the MainDispatch Privacy Policy for information about the categories of data we process, how information is used, location tracking, shipment records, retention, and privacy requests.
